If you have kids from toddlers to teens, it's very likely that you have heard the theme song. Everything is Awesooome! The Lego Movie was and still is the reigning champ of family favorites on movie night. Thank you to LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester and US Family Guide for sponsoring our family visit. Here's how our Mini Builder toddler and Master Builder tween stacked up at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester. We eagerly planned multiple trips to visit the recently opened LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester without the success of the planets aligning in our favor. Well, many moons later, I am happy to announce that we finally made it to LEGOLAND! Located in the hub of the retailers and eateries of Westchester's Ridge Hill, there is plenty of variety for everyone in the family to shop, eat and enjoy. Our family decided to visit LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester on a weekday evening just after school. This proved to be a very wise decision, as the visitor traffic is much lighter than during the weekends. We were able to enjoy the rides and attractions with little or no wait time and had more than enough time to casually build, rebuild and build some more. Plan a visit that will allow a fun-filled 2 to 3 hours at LEGOLAND Discovery Center. We all enjoyed blasting away as many bad guys as possible on the Kingdom Quest ride while we worked as a team, a very competitive team to save the princess. Our tween was all excited about working over at the LEGO Racers: Build & Test area where he was able to construct his very own LEGO race car. Building a speeding roadster was only half of the fun, the race cars were then put on the test ramps to see them go! Our toddler wanted to shake things up at the Earthquake Table where he rescued a Duplo tower that we carried around with us. With LEGO Duplo brick everywhere, this little castle tower grew to epic proportions during our visit. We knew leaving his project behind would lend to a very "emotional" moment, so we quickly relocated his castle tower to a LEGO table in the Cafe and headed for the gift shop to build a souvenir minifigure. Clearly, we will return for the tower that was unwillingly left behind. - See more at: http://www.niecyisms.com/2014/12/mini-to-master-builders-adore-legoland.html#sthash.fKgKsyAb.dpuf
