Families may register now for TADA! Youth Theater's new online Winter Education Classes, designed for ages 4 to 18. Winter Semester Musical Theater Classes will be offered January 25, 2021, through April 17, 2021. In this fast-paced, active environment, young people will co-create an original musical as an ensemble. It's the perfect blend of musical theater training, storytelling, and fun theater games to keep their young minds engaged all semester long!
In addition to the 12-week semester, TADA! is offering a 4-week Song and Dance Mini-Series in February and March and 1-day Broadway Workshops for families looking for a short-term and affordable commitment.
With smaller class sizes, TADA! Professional Teaching Artists provide personalized attention and offer one-on-one coaching and solo opportunities for each student in the areas of singing, dancing and acting. All classes take place on Zoom and culminate in a final performance for an invited Zoom audience. TADA!'s goal is to bring kids together even when they're apart. Students are welcome from New York City, the tri-state region, across the country, and around the world!
TADA! Youth Theater is an anti-racist and multicultural organization, and, therefore, is committed to providing financial assistance to families who demonstrate self-expressed need.

There are two workshop dates:
February 6th - In-person at ahhhMazing Life Studio in Wylie, TX (max 8 attendees)
February 20th - In-person at Move Studio in Dallas, TX (max 12 attendees)
Hours for both workshops:
1:00p - 3:00p CST
Cost: $30/$20 for sibling (Use coupon code "mimyouthsibling" at checkout. You will need to sign up sibling separately to receive the discount

Description:
Yoga and Mindfulness workshop for youth ages 12-18 who want to improve emotional and physical stability, performance in school and other activities, build confidence and feel calm no matter what life throws your way.
Activities include:
-Yoga practice to develop mental and physical stability, balance, flexibility and calm
-Conscious breathing for creating calm when you need it most
-Mindful communication to learn how to listen and talk to each other
-Kindness activity to develop compassion and empathy
-Mindful games to cultivate connection
-Journaling for self-reflection

Jennifer Gaona presents for teachers the ins and outs of "Who Done ? A Presidential Investigation" for elementary and secondary students. Viewers can ask Mrs. Gaona, a well-established leader of curriculum, questions about tailoring this program to their classroom.
"Who Done it? A Presidential Investigation" challenges students to analyze primary source quotes, images and speeches of war-time presidents.

Join this celebration honoring Presidents and their trains!
This historical overview begins in 1833 with President Andrew Jackson, the first president to ride in a train. Highlighted will be the unique train stories of President Abraham Lincoln, President Warren Harding, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, President Harry S. Truman, First Lady Lady Bird Johnson's "Special" train campaign for President Lyndon Johnson, President Dwight Eisenhower, and President George H.W. Bush. It shows trains continue to make a strong connection for people with their presidents.

"Bush News" challenges challenges students to look deeper at several pieces of major legislation, including the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Clean Air Act.
